- 各エピソードのサムネイル画像は基本的に作中の1シーンを切り取ったものであるが、本エピソードの場合はサムネイル用に作られた画像である。
- ポートのセリフ"Looks like Yang's angry! And you wouldn't like her when she's... upset"はハルクのキャッチフレーズ"Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry"にかけたものである。
- 本エピソードの原案ではダブルスラウンドでピュラとノーラがサンとネプチューンと戦う予定であったが、時間の都合とストーリーとの関連が薄い事が理由でカットされた。この戦いでは地形は反重力（ペニーのダブルスラウンドで見られたもの）、沼、凍土、砂漠であり、ネプチューンの水恐怖症がまたも展開に影響を与える予定であった。この戦いではピュラとノーラが勝ち上がる予定だったと思われるが[1]、"Fall"ではピュラとサンが共に決勝まで残っている様子が描かれているため最終的なプロットでは両者はダブルスラウンドでは当たっていないことになる。
- クロウがアイアンウッドの事を指して"I'm not even sure he has a heart"と言ったのは、オズの魔法使いのブリキの木こりにかけたものである。
- チームRWBYとチームFNKIの戦いのBGMの最後の部分はRooster Teethアニメーションのアウトロ部分で使用されている。
- 本エピソードのクレジットではR.W.B.Y. vs F.N.K.I.が流れるが、オンライン公開版では"I Burn"のブラスリミックス部分が流れるのに対して、DVD/BD版では"This Will Be the Day"のスキャット部分が流れる。
